About Frances Wilson
Frances “Frankie” Wilson is a multidisciplinary artist working in Portland, Oregon. Frankie works with personal symbols to discuss preciousness, memory, and collectorship through their paintings and sculpture. They are interested in the human desire to collect memory and how that manifests itself in a domestic environment. Using her own collections as imagery, she creates immersive installations to express the memoryscape. Their work has been shown in the 2017 group exhibition Put a Word on It! and the 2018 Bridges PDX with the Iron Fireman Collective in Portland, Oregon.
